WELCOME TO our Homeschool FAMILY!

Meet Ms. Lisa

Our workshops are designed to be both educational and engaging, covering a diverse range of topics that go beyond traditional topics and textbooks. We delve into the wonders of natural science through hands on experiments to exploring the vibrant world of art through new materials and doing creative projects. Raising Wildflowers offers something for every child.

About Us:

From Preschool playground to Homeschool Haven:

For over two decades, I have found joy and purpose in nurturing young minds, first as a preschool teacher and now as a homeschool enrichment facilitator and director.

At 50- something I've traded the glitter and glue and finger-paint( you might still see glitter and glue on my face, hands and floor) for the dynamic and personalized world of homeschooling, a journey that has enriched my life in countless ways.

My heart found it's calling in Early Childhood Education over 25 years ago. Guiding preschoolers through their first steps in learning, fostering their creativity and witnessing their "aha!" moments filled my days with a sense of fulfillment. Now in my fifth year of homeschool enrichment teaching, I strive to bring that same magic to students in the homeschool community with my workshops taught by passionate parents, instructors I hire or myself.

My passion for education is deeply intertwined with my personal life. As a mother to one son, I understand the joys and challenges of raising a child .In fact, I took the plunge into homeschooling my son at one point, an experience that opened my eyes to the unique challenge to try to get information into his mind, write letters of intent and IHIP deadlines. I scoured websites, FB and the like looking for meet-ups, classes and places my son could go to open his horizons. I found two places way back then a beautiful family with a farmhouse, pond, acres and a curriculum of art, nature and literacy. I also found him a Yurt program that offered friendships, cooking and comradery. Those years solidified my belief in the power of personalized education and inspired me to share my knowledge and expertise with other homeschool families.

I find solace and inspirations in my garden, I lose myself in pages of books, and I like to cook plant based meals on weekends.

My life is a tapestry woven with threads of education, motherhood, and personal passions. I am a lifelong learner and just took personal development classes this summer in phonics, loose parts and more. I am a passionate advocate for creating enriching and personalized learning experiences for children through play and workshops.

WHy Workshops:

For 4 years, our homeschool community thrived on the co-op model. However, as our children grew and their learning needs diversified the co-op began to feel less like a collaborative haven and more like a logistical juggling act. That is when we decided to explore a different approach:

The homeschool enrichment Workshop.

This model shifted the focus from lesson plans to specialized workshops led by experts or skilled parents.

Instead of trying to cover everything, we concentrated on providing engaging, hands-on experiences

in art, science and languages.

The result?

a transformative shift. Parents feel less pressured and more empowered.

Our community rediscovered a way to tailor the homeschool experience

to our children's evolving needs.

We haven't looked back.

you'll love our fun ENrichment WORKSHOPS!

Choose the right workshop for your child:

We understand that children learn and develop at different paces. That's why we offer a variety of workshops tailored to specific age groups.

We offer some workshops as drop-off and some as stay and play.

We offer some designed for only 4-5 year old's and some workshops are for 5-8. We offer a few workshops for ages 8 and up.

We do not offer workshops for 3 year old's at this time per our insurance.Sorry for any inconvenience with this matter.
